GLA-02 Recycled Glass Beads
Recycled glass beads are vibrant, handcrafted beads made using centuries-old techniques across West Africa and the Middle East—especially in countries like Ghana and Turkey. African and Asian artisans create these beads by crushing discarded glass (such as bottles, windows, and other scrap), grinding it into a fine powder, and carefully placing it into clay molds. The molds are then fired in traditional kilns, where the glass fuses into solid, beautifully textured beads.
