Fair Trade

We prioritize the safety and well-being of others and uphold the principles of fair trade.

While we are not affiliated with any national or international fair trade certification bodies, our business is rooted in social and economic responsibility. We value the integrity of craftsmanship and the preservation of cultural traditions. Through ethical production practices and meaningful engagement with artisans, we are committed to supporting fair, respectful, and sustainable trade.

In line with our sustainability and fair-trade objectives, Jordan Beads is committed to engaging in fair and ethical trade with artisans around the world, fostering cultural heritage while strengthening local economies.

  • We take a firm stance against child labor, ensuring that none is involved in the creation of the raw materials, supplies, or products we sell.
  • Our beads are thoughtfully sourced from regions across the Mediterranean, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and the Americas.

ECONOMIC CONSIDERATIONS:

Recognizing the crucial role of economic empowerment for artisans and craftsmen, we ensure fair compensation for their labor. We uphold the principle of fair pricing, whether sourcing directly from craftspeople or through intermediaries. Our transactions are conducted at a Reasonable Asking Price, considering global currency fluctuations.

Artisans are always paid at or above their reasonable asking prices. We define 'Reasonable Asking Price' based on the currency exchange rates, supply requirements, and prevailing market conditions for domestic suppliers.

Our foremost aim is to conduct trade in a responsible manner, offering customers ethically produced goods that are truly special and one-of-a-kind.
