Mexican Smalti Color Batch info

Mexican smalti naturally varies in color, both from piece to piece and between production batches. The A, B, C, D, etc., designations in our listing correspond to Perdomo's batch identifiers, which they classify as the same color. However, side-by-side comparisons of current and previous shipments may reveal slight differences in shade.

For first-time purchases, these variations are generally unnoticeable and are considered a normal characteristic of handmade smalti. For repeat orders, the batch designation indicates that while the color remains within the same range, slight variations from earlier shipments should be expected. Whether these differences are significant depends on the specific requirements of your project.

To ensure the closest possible color consistency, we strongly recommend purchasing the full quantity required for your project in a single order. Because Mexican smalti is handcrafted, future shipments of the same SKU (Item number) may exhibit slight color variations and may not match previous inventory exactly.
